DEV NEWS: THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NEW IP, STATUS


How is the game doing?


After 400+ corrections the game has been completed and tested to clean it for glitches and bugs, this takes into account the work done to finally set the English, Castellano and Spanish languages being implemented into the game.


What is next?


The next step is to work on the final builds, PR pages and the media and set everything ready. There will be priority for polishing the visuals of the game and everything possible in the spare time before the final release date, even if that implies that the marketing for the game will be almost 0.


How do you feel about it?


I was so stressed this past month, working to no end, but finally the game is on the final version and a solid one without bugs, the task of playing the game as a tester is one of the most hardest but I am glad it is finished successfully.

Now that there are just two months to the end of 2020, the game needs to be ready to release, and that opening trailer is going to be very hard, I love video editing, but I really wonder if I am going to make it on time, hope everything goes smoothly and finally the game will be out before December 31.

I like the game a lot, especially the music, it is so good; but for some reason, in the early weeks of October i barely could get good sleep, must be due the deadline or maybe fear of success, man, that rush of the last phases of releasing a game never wears off, but that is the work.

The pricing is going to be a challenge, a lot of math involved, so "fun...." A whole year of work and still can't enter into the 9-10 bucks category, man, game dev is hard, I think it is almost impossible to reach that level in a year as a solo dev. Maybe this would be my last game... it takes so much, mentally, emotionally and financially (but it is so amazing making videogames).
